About us
Faith Moves Us. We Move What Matters.
A family-owned, faith-based moving labor company serving Fort Worth and the surrounding communities.
How Moving Now began
Moving Now Labor Services started in 2011, when our founder, Jimmy Farris, set out to build something of his own after years of working for other moving companies. He knew the work inside and out, and more than that, he genuinely loved it. What he loved most was the people: every job was a chance to lend a hand to somebody having a hard day and to be a blessing to a neighbor who needed one.
That love of the work, and the desire to help people the way he would want to be helped, is what Moving Now was built on. It is still a family-owned, Christian, faith-based business that runs on the same values it started with: faith, family, and honest work. As far as we are concerned, everyone who calls is a neighbor worth caring for.
More than a decade later, Jimmy still loves what he does, serving our Fort Worth neighbors with sweat, care, and the promise that we will treat your home and your belongings like our own.
